1. NAME

1.1. The name of the Organization is “oDiA samAja”, here after abbreviated as OdiSA.

1.2. Openness, Transparency, Accountability & Leadership are the four foundations of this democratic organization.

1.3. The “oDiA samAja” (OdiSA) is a non- political global organization of well wishers of oDishA based on the principle of equal opportunity for all.

1.4. At any point of time modification to the above mentioned clauses (1.1, 1.2 & 1.3) of the organization should be avoided to protect the integrity and the very existence of the organization. Any other related aggregate and/or segregate should be carried out as per the procedures listed elsewhere in this constitution for changes to constitution.

2. LANGUAGE

2.1. oDiA (The language of oDishA) as well as English will both be the official languages of choice for OdiSA. Except as demanded due to legalities in the country of operation, usage of oDiA will be given priority over English.

3. VISION

3.1. The vision of the Organization is to see growth of oDiAs across the globe and growth of oDishA as a developed state in India through an equitable distribution of resources and infrastructure across all regions of oDishA.

4. MISSION

4.1. The mission of the Organization is to be one Team with one dream: to collectively pursue the dream (vision) “developed oDishA & progressive Odia”.

5. OBJECTIVE

5.1. To be a non-profit global organization dedicated to the social, cultural, educational, linguistic, literary and economic development of oDishA and oDiAs worldwide.

5.2. To be an organization free from any sort of discrimination based on caste, creed, color or religious beliefs.

5.3. To foster friendship and mutual respect amongst oDiAs in a free, dynamic and pluralistic environment.

5.4. To instill the oDiA self-esteem and leadership qualities among oDiAs everywhere in the world.

5.5. Engage in developing oDishA by facilitating strong ties with people of oDishA and her developmental activities leading to a better and prosperous oDishA.
